Mt. Biking Fall 2013

We often go to Mt. biking late summer and early fall.   It is great to visit some of my favorite hiking trails and explore them in a new way.   We can cover distance faster and travel farther.   I love the technical aspect of riding single track and find that it is similar to running white water.  You read the trail and try to avoid rocks, holes and roots.  We went to a few new places and explored some of our favorite rides as well.  A great ride on Mt. St. Helens takes you through Ape Canyon and out across the Plains of Abraham.  Tarbell, Siouxon, Coyote Wall, Phil's Trail and Sandy Ridge were fun trails to ride.
